In this program we draw the distinction between the popular Psalm Chapter 91, and the position of the believer as a new creation based on the finished works of Christ at the Cross.
While it is perfectly acceptable for a person to take comfort, believe and trust in the Lord by following Psalm 91, it is important to acknowledge and live by the finished works of the Cross. Jesus shed his blood to pay for all sin and for that sin to be forgiven for anyone who confesses it (see 1 John 1:9). The blood of Christ also paid for the new birth, the regenerated spirit of a lost soul, having been translated out from under the powers of darkness and into Christ’s kingdom (see Colossians 1:13). Why all of this? Just to be “certified” to get into heaven one day? No. It’s to do as Jesus did on this earth while we are still here. To bring the earth under control, to subdue it, to cast out sicknesses and all forms of death out of people. This, to demonstrate the Good News, the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
Psalm 91 is Trusting in God and doing nothing except that. That compared to the new covenant that the new believer partakes of now since the blood of Jesus was shed. That new covenant was what God made with Jesus. That is, Christ in us, the hope of glory. That is, the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling the new creation, so that believers walk in the power of God, going about doing good, healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for God is with them (see Acts 10:38). You say, ‘Well, that was Jesus. We are not Jesus.’ You are correct, we are not God, but Jesus himself said we are to do the same works and greater than him (see John 14:12). We are not to sit back and hope we’re sheltered by the Almighty (Psalm 91). We are to walk in the dominion Christ restored for us, take charge, arise and shine and be fearless in this world, bringing heaven to earth, setting people free by Christ flowing through and from us.

En este programa trazamos la distinción entre el popular Salmo Capítulo 91 y la posición del creyente como una nueva creación basada en las obras terminadas de Cristo en la Cruz. Si bien es perfectamente aceptable que una persona se consuele, crea y confíe en el Señor siguiendo el Salmo 91, es importante reconocer y vivir de acuerdo con las obras consumadas de la Cruz. Jesús derramó su sangre para pagar por todos los pecados y para que ese pecado sea perdonado para cualquiera que lo confiese (ver 1 Juan 1: 9). La sangre de Cristo también pagó por el nuevo nacimiento, el espíritu regenerado de un alma perdida, habiendo sido trasladado de debajo de los poderes de las tinieblas al reino de Cristo (ver Colosenses 1:13). ¿Por qué todo esto? ¿Solo para estar “certificado” para entrar al cielo algún día? No. Es hacer lo que hizo Jesús en esta tierra mientras todavía estamos aquí. Controlar la tierra, dominarla, expulsar de la gente las enfermedades y toda forma de muerte. Esto, para demostrar la Buena Nueva, el Evangelio de Cristo Jesús. El Salmo 91 es Confiar en Dios y no hacer nada más que eso. Eso se compara con el nuevo pacto del que el nuevo creyente participa ahora desde que se derramó la sangre de Jesús. Ese nuevo pacto fue lo que Dios hizo con Jesús. Es decir, Cristo en nosotros, la esperanza de gloria. Es decir, el poder del Espíritu Santo que mora en la nueva creación, para que los creyentes caminen en el poder de Dios, haciendo el bien, sanando a todos los oprimidos por el diablo, porque Dios está con ellos (ver Hechos 10:38). . Dices: ‘Bueno, ese fue Jesús. No somos Jesús ‘. Tienes razón, no somos Dios, pero el mismo Jesús dijo que debemos hacer las mismas obras y más grandes que él (ver Juan 14:12). No debemos sentarnos y esperar que el Todopoderoso nos proteja (Salmo 91). Debemos caminar en el dominio que Cristo restauró para nosotros, tomar el control, levantarnos y brillar y ser intrépidos en este mundo, trayendo el cielo a la tierra, liberando a las personas por medio de Cristo que fluye a través de nosotros y desde nosotros.
