Old Testament – Moses waited for God the Father to part the Red Sea

New Covenant – Jesus Walked on Water (and so did Peter).

Old Testament – God spoke to us through His prophets long ago

New Covenant – God now gets to speak to us in His Son (see Hebrews 1:1) and now speaks to us directly (since Jesus is the Way that God can reach us through His Son).

Old Testament – At Sinai, God entered into a covenant with Moses and the rest of the Israelites. When God made His covenant with Abraham, He promised to make his descendants into a great nation, to give them the land of Canaan, and ultimately to bless all the nations of the earth through him.

New Covenant – If you have received Jesus as your Saviour and Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you have inherited the promise given to Abraham. That promise is the mystery that is now revealed – Christ in You the Hope of Glory (see Colossians 1:27)

Old Testament – A man had to wait for an angel to come down to stir the waters, so that if he could be the first one in then he would be healed of whatever he had (John 5:4)

New Covenant – By the stripes that Christ suffered at the whipping post, all healing has been paid for. We believers simply have to …. believe … to receive, or, if you are sick and have not been able to accept this truth yet, ask for the Lord to send someone to pray for you (lay hands on you), to believe for your healing and you will set free from your sickness.

Old Testament – Man’s sins had to be atoned for (temporary covered) through the sacrificing of animals

New Covenant – If Man believes in Jesus and asks for his forgiveness, the shed blood of Christ on the cross finally pays (remits) completely for all sin for that man, past present and future, as he confesses them. (1 John 1:9)

Old Testament – We were all fallen souls in a fallen world with no hope yet materialized

New Covenant – The free gift of eternal salvation (Jesus literally saves us from an eternal life of torment and suffering) is available to all who receive Jesus and believe in Him. (Romans 10:9)
