You accidentally drive through an intersection with the traffic light at red. Not seeing the traffic light doesn’t mean you didn’t disobey it and are not going to be subjected to the result of your action or inaction. Telling the police officer that you didn’t see the traffic light won’t help you.
The same applies to biblical principles. If we take Proverbs chapter 18 verse 21 which says:
Proverbs 18:21
[21]Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. [Matt. 12:37.]
When someone declares anything opposite God’s will (such as that death is imminent due a sickness in someone), they may be stating fact, but the person who speaks not according to the Lord’s will is only inviting what they believe. It is a spiritual principle whether born again or not that we shall have whatsoever we believe. If we believe something bad is going to happen and you don’t doubt that it will happen then there is a high degree of certainty you will have what you ask for. No wonder at the worldly phrase ‘Be careful what you wish for.’ Remember that God wants what is best for you. The devil wants what is worst for you. If someone issues a diagnosis that is not God’s will (anything but related to life and healing from sickness and disease based on faith in Him) then the the kingdom of darkness will most likely produce what that other person spoke because of their faith in what they believed.
Just because they have so far ignored this truth doesn’t mean that their actions will have no repurcussions.
The entire Creation should be using the biblical principle of calling those things that are not as though they were (see Romans chapter 4 verse 17). This only makes sense to those who believe and are born of the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:14
[14]But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.
Those who do not know are trying their own way to figure out the answers in life. If they don’t have the answer they follow another sheep in their flock. However this is a flock that is lost, yet to change its shephard.
Believers on the other hand have access to the unlimited greatness of the power of God inside of them.
Ephesians 1:19
[19]And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,
While others who claim to be experts in this world speak death over those under their authority, Believers using their faith in God, and what He has accomplished, can speak life, restoration and healing over others and see them completely healed. (See Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5, and 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24)
This is an example of the the real fight between life and death. Light and darkness. Righteousness and the evil’s nature which is to destroy.
