No Need for Another Impartation (If You Have Jesus)

John 3:35 (NASB) says:
‘The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.’

Why do we go to conferences seeking impartations and spiritual gifts? If you believe in Jesus, you have ALL YOU NEED inside of you! You have the Most Holy Almighty God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, as well as Jesus and the Holy Spirit living inside of the recreated Spirit that Jesus suffered so much to give you.

The Father has given ALL things to the Son (Jesus), and you are COMPLETE in Jesus! See verse 10 below.

Colossians 2:8-15 (NASB):
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, [h]rather than according to Christ. 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made [i]complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; 11 and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; 12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 When you were dead [k]in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.’

If you are complete, nothing else needs to happen to your Spirit! You need not go anywhere except down on your knees and thank Him for paying for it all!

NOW….. Read the Bible, Believe it, and Be a Doer of it, so that you do not deceive yourself. (James 1:22-24)

THEN you shall BELIEVE, your FAITH will become activated, and you SHALL see miracles signs and wonders with God working through you. (Philippians 2:13). You SHALL set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1)

Be encouraged! God does not withhold anything from you, his Son, his disciple which seeks to do His Will, bringing Heaven to Earth. (Matt 6:10, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20)

Walk about this world in confidence in the name of Jesus, the name above ALL names.

Making a Change in Our World

When some of us look about the world we live in and see the death, destruction, sickness, and oppression, we may feel discouraged and sad. You have probably heard of or even thought yourself that the “world is going to hell in a hand-basket”. Some ill-informed individuals tend to blame God for all the bad things in their lives and the world around them. This is because they lean on their own understanding (what Proverbs 3:5 tells us not to do.) One of the beliefs being that God being the good God that He is would never allow anything bad to happen.

Psalms 115:16 reconfirms that God has given us the world to look after. Why do we then blame God for the way the world is? Think twice when you next say to yourself “It’s OK, God’s in Control”. If you mean “God’s in control of everything” let us take one example: The world. If He IS in control, then the state of this world would be an insult to Him since the Word of God says in James 1:17:

‘Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.’

No, the Believer has dominion over this earth IN CHRIST JESUS. Let’s get up off our pews and chairs and head outdoors and make a difference, Amen? Let’s not rest on our laurels and wait for God to heal, God to decide to fix the world. One day perhaps those of us will wake up, smell the coffee, and figure that it is INDEED up to us to change this world as CO LABORERS with God Himself! God doesn’t do it all Himself, and neither do we, we do it with Him TOGETHER. He waits for us to agree to be used by Him.

While we did not deserve it, and He didn’t have to, out of His grace He sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die and be resurrected for us, to give us the opportunity to reconcile and make it right with God after the events of the garden of Eden in Gen 3:6.

Since Genesis 3:6, man, together with the world that God gave him dominion over, has fallen. Since man had dominion, and he fell, so did the world. We can never overestimate the significance of that event in history.

But a bigger event than that has taken place in history, and it’s not the birth of Christ, but the resurrection of Christ. If Jesus had been born but had never died and raised from the dead, we would still be headed, quite deservedly, to hell, where we belong. How wrong is the world to blame God for all things bad when they were the very cause of it, influenced by the original sinner, Lucifer the devil Satan and the swath of fallen angels following on behind him. All with the mission of keeping God’s creation cut off from Him with blindness to the Truth of the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Satan and his evil companions continue to their utmost to keep the precious souls of this world blinded to the truth. In this next verse, the ‘god’ of this world referenced in the text is Satan. Note the lower case ‘g’. He will never be deserving of anything bigger.

2 Cor 4:4: in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

This is why it is so critical for believers to do what Jesus commanded them to do in Matthew 28:18-20:
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 [e]Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you [f]always, even to the end of the age.”

In the video linked to this post, a Christian was preaching the Good News to those people lining up for the Las Vegas concert. Some of these people unknowingly would end up being injured or killed that night. Today may be the last chance for someone to hear about Jesus. You have the Word living in you. Let’s not keep it to ourselves.

Have a blessed Christmas,
Pastor Marc

God Cannot Help but to Pour Out!

[spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

God cannot help but to pour out! But our free will and unbelief prevents Him most of the time.

In the Bible we see that Jesus didn’t even know the woman with the issue of blood had touched him and received her healing:

NAS Bible. Luke 8:43-48 [43]And a woman who had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone, [44]came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped. [45]And Jesus said, “Who is the one who touched Me?” And while they were all denying it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You.” [46]But Jesus said, “Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me.” [47]When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. [48]And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”

We know God the Father feels the same way as His Son Jesus, because of:

Hebrews 1
[3]And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Jesus didn’t have to approve of the power of God to leave him before it happened. It just happened. It is who He is. His true divine nature.

We block the ability of the power of God to flow through us because of our unbelief. (see Matthew 17:19-20) Don’t try to make any other excuse for not seeing miracles by your hands. Just believe. Only believe. Lord help our unbelief. So be it. AMEN. HALLELUJAH. Yes you should also be baptized in the Holy Spirit to move more in power. But allowing God through you in any amount all comes down to faith. He wants to reach the poor desperate soul in front of you more than you do. And he is waiting for you to believe and do the same and greater works that Jesus did…. so that He can flow through you to reach that soul in front of you.

2 Timothy 4
[7]I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;

Love and God’s blessings to you. Pastor Marc.

Taking Time to Notice

[spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

God is so good at all times. I was on my way into a store and I saw this lady. As I passed her I could tell that she was suffering. How could I not ask to pray for her. Immediately doubt tried to creep in. Her suffering weighed more than fear. I asked, “can I please pray for you. I passed by you and you seemed like you were going through something”. She said, “please do”. I was so happy to be used by God. She said she had pain in her foot. I layer hands on her shoulder and began to pray. Than I told her to check her foot. She said the pain hadn’t changed much at all. Then I said, let me pray again because Jesus paid for your healing. I prayed again for her and asked her to check her foot. She said wow, there is a big change. I asked is it completely gone? She said no but I had done a good job. Then I said Jesus paid for your complete healing not partial. Then as she was saying it’s ok, I knew that it was on its way out completely, and I told her as she goes the healing is continuing. How faithful is God. This lady began to cry because she was more touched that someone took the time to stop and notice her and her pain. Take time today to notice who can be helped. God is so good.

Old Testament Life vs New Covenant Life

Old Testament – Moses waited for God the Father to part the Red Sea

New Covenant – Jesus Walked on Water (and so did Peter).

Old Testament – God spoke to us through His prophets long ago

New Covenant – God now gets to speak to us in His Son (see Hebrews 1:1) and now speaks to us directly (since Jesus is the Way that God can reach us through His Son).

Old Testament – At Sinai, God entered into a covenant with Moses and the rest of the Israelites. When God made His covenant with Abraham, He promised to make his descendants into a great nation, to give them the land of Canaan, and ultimately to bless all the nations of the earth through him.

New Covenant – If you have received Jesus as your Saviour and Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you have inherited the promise given to Abraham. That promise is the mystery that is now revealed – Christ in You the Hope of Glory (see Colossians 1:27)

Old Testament – A man had to wait for an angel to come down to stir the waters, so that if he could be the first one in then he would be healed of whatever he had (John 5:4)

New Covenant – By the stripes that Christ suffered at the whipping post, all healing has been paid for. We believers simply have to …. believe … to receive, or, if you are sick and have not been able to accept this truth yet, ask for the Lord to send someone to pray for you (lay hands on you), to believe for your healing and you will set free from your sickness.

Old Testament – Man’s sins had to be atoned for (temporary covered) through the sacrificing of animals

New Covenant – If Man believes in Jesus and asks for his forgiveness, the shed blood of Christ on the cross finally pays (remits) completely for all sin for that man, past present and future, as he confesses them. (1 John 1:9)

Old Testament – We were all fallen souls in a fallen world with no hope yet materialized

New Covenant – The free gift of eternal salvation (Jesus literally saves us from an eternal life of torment and suffering) is available to all who receive Jesus and believe in Him. (Romans 10:9)

The Last Bus Home

You hear it’s the final hour. It’s late at night. Someone earlier in the day talked to you about the bus schedule. You believed in the bus company so you catch the last bus home.

Others were not successful in catching the bus and you are anxious for what will happen to them overnight.

Every soul that God has created is precious to Him. He has paid for the free bus ride home for all creation. That bus being Jesus. John 3:16.

Jesus is Our Savior…  Once…  and then should be our Lord daily.

Once in Heaven, we don’t know if we will be able to wonder about those who didn’t make the Last Bus. What if we are able to wonder if we could have done more and reached more souls but were afraid of rejection?

Of course the Bible says there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ and walk according to the Spirit. So is walking according to the Spirit of God walking AWAY from telling friends and strangers about Jesus? I don’t believe so. Walking according to the Spirit would be doing as God wants us to do. That includes the Great Commission. See Mark 16 and Matthew 28.

God has not given the angels charge to minister the Gospel of Jesus the Christ. He has given it to you and I. Let us be bold. May it never be that you be in fear of rejection!  For it is not us who are alive anyway. Gal 2:20. It is Christ who lives through us….. Or perhaps better stated, He is able to live through us to the degree that we allow Him to which evidenced by the fruit of the average believer is sadly not much at all.

It is not going to be possible to save souls from Heaven. The only time is while here. And that time here is but a vapor.  It’s very short!  Let’s seize this opportunity. Lets not allow the devil to take one more soul! Get others to know about Jesus before it’s too late. The last bus is about to leave town. Let’s shout to all around us about the goodness and love of Jesus and his, payment for healing and all of their sins and allow others to experience His Kingdom. Demonstrate it with love but also with power. Be a fisher of men. Tell them about Jesus. He is the only bus, and therefore, The Last Bus Home.

If Adam had not Fallen

If Adam had not fallen, man would not need the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit to do the things that Jesus did.

When Jesus commanded the sea, and the fig tree, he had to be anointed by the Father to do all these things — to walk in dominion, to walk on water, to perform miracles signs and wonders.

Jesus was not doing anything out of his ‘special-ness’ . Remember that Jesus walked on earth as man in right relationship with God (he had emptied himself of all things that made him God, including his power — see Phil 2:7).  So Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to be upon him to carry out all the works. Why? Because when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3 verse 6) their disobedient act of not trusting in God and doing as he said, caused the dominion that they had been given to subdue the earth by God in Genesis chapter 1 verse 28 to be given over to the devil Satan. So God the Father made it so that his son would come as a man in right relationship with God so he would be our example. Of course by destroying the works of the enemy while he was here he allowed us to receive salvation through our believing in Jesus and with repentance and forgiveness of our sins by his blood being shed.

On earth, Jesus did nothing that he had not already told his disciples to do.  In fact everything Jesus did fell under the category of Genesis chapter 1 verse 26.  He spoke to the fish…tree…sea…. he had dominion over all of these things.  God’s plan was for man to have dominion, his plan has never changed, it has remained the same.

We lost the connection with God, but we also lost the dominion. So what you see in Jesus is God restoring to man that dominion.

After his resurrection Jesus received all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18-20), and because of that believers can now therefore go into all the world, do the same works and greater (John 14:12), because we are now anointed to go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed of the devil, for God is with us (Acts 10:38). We can go and spread the gospel winning souls for Jesus, believing for people to be healed, with the Holy Spirit performing signs and wonders following us doing the believing (the faith part). It is Jesus that paid for these souls, and he is the one that is so deserving of them.

Does one’s salvation occur automatically without any human involvement in any part of the process? God wants his believers, his disciples to deliver the good news to the lost and the suffering. That is why Jesus gave ALL BELIEVERS (NOT SPECIFIC PARTS OF THE FOUR-FOLD MINISTRY) the Great Co-Mission (Mark 16; Matthew 28). By the power of the Holy Spirit set the captives free, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers. Why? Freely you have received, freely give!  We deserve hell, but God deserves us winning souls for his kingdom! Jesus has paid it all, even salvation for us undeserving believers. Bless you Jesus forever!

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.” (Rev 4:8)

Identifying Your Identity and Salvation in the Cross

image

The world changes their definition of your worth from moment to moment. If we place our trust in this definition our world could crumble.
Today put your identity in Christ. God builds his church on a rock. Upon this rock you can stand. Let the Lord be your refuge and shelter. Trust in Him with all your heart. As God loves and freely gives this to you, give to another. Freely love, shelter and give to others who stand where you were.
If not for the cross where would I be?
Where the world throws away….God redeems.
Where the world rejects …God says come all who are weary and heavy laden.
Where the world judges clothes….God dresses you in princely garments.
Where does my help come from?
It comes from the Lord.
I know my redeemer lives.
I will dance like David dance before the Lord.
I will sing a song of praise.
I am not perfect Lord but you make all things new. In you there is strength.
In you there is forgiveness.
God give us grace.

Jesus IS Risen, Did you Die With Him?

Sins remitted and the ‘Ticket to Heaven’, but there’s so much more!

Most people believe that Jesus ascended into Heaven. However few seem to know what this means to them in their own life.

If we put the Bible back on the shelf after merely futicket-306087_640lfilling Romans 10v9 just to get into Heaven through salvation, we are sadly missing the majority of the Gospel. That is, to our detriment, and those in our path that need Jesus.

Believers Are Dead to Sin, Alive to God

Romans 6

1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?

When we give our lives to Christ Jesus, when we allow him into our hearts, when we confess that he is Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, the Bible says in Romans 10v9 we are saved.

Part of becoming saved is that we are baptized into His death (see Rom 6v3 above). God recreates our heart, our spirit. We become a new creation, as stated in:

2 Corinthians 5:17

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

See here that the old things passed away. What old things? The old you! What happened to the old me? It died with Christ Jesus on the cross. The old self that was sin-ruled since the first birth (out of our Mother’s womb). We did not know any different, but to sin. That is because we had a sin-nature. It was inherent in us, we did not need to be taught it. This goes back to the sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (see Genesis 3 regarding the Fall of Man.)

Now however, the Bible says in:

2 Corinthians 5:21

21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

God the Father made Jesus who was sinless, had never done anything wrong, become sin on OUR behalf. All of our sin, past present and future was placed onto Jesus on the cross, and thus our old sin-ruled self has died on the cross with Jesus!

Without Jesus doing this, salvation would not be possible, as there would be no way back to God following the events of the Fall of Man.

So now understand this placing of our sins on the cross with Jesus is us being baptized into his death.

Sin no longer has a hold on a new believer, positionally. The devil Satan has no rights over you once you choose to receive Jesus and make him your Lord. That is because now you have been bought by the blood of Jesus, have become one of his, and no are no longer a child of the devil (1 John 3:10).

Romans chapter 6 continues (bold emphasis mine):

Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin.

One of the huge victories Christ Jesus won for those who believe in him is that our old “body of sin might be done away with” (v6 above), having been nailed to the cross with Jesus. This is you FINALLY being set FREE by Jesus! You are no longer a slave to sin, seemingly being controlled and overwhelmed by it, while your own feeble efforts as an unbeliever are not sufficient to overcome it. That is until you become a believer and God’s Grace becomes sufficient. Not a license to sin, but rather the strength of God’s will to support and help you resist the temptations of the devil and to give you a way of escape (1 Cor 10v13).

If we are dead to sin, why do some of us still decide to handcuffs-964722_640habitually embroil ourselves in it? Here I am not talking of the odd slip and fall, but the deliberate and habitual sin that we apply effort into practicing. Because we have a free will, and we decide to push aside the conviction of the Holy Spirit because the temptations are “just too strong” to say no to.  Or so some of us tend to believe.  However, 1 Cor 10v13 shows us that no temptation is strong enough to say no to for a believer. We must not try to raise the old man back up and continue habitually living in our former ways. We must act who we now are, a totally different creature or species. To do this we must focus on Jesus, while at the same time study the Truth that is God’s Word, and believe what is written is the truth, and act it out in our daily lives. This is the mind being renewed, which is essential to giving further distance to our old ways:

Romans 12:2:

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

The bible says that the carnal mind is enmity against God (Rom 8:7). We owe it to God — the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit to walk as Jesus walked.. Holy (1 Peter 1:15). However tough it is to say “no” to temptation, know that is the RIGHT thing to do. Seek God first and His Righteousness. (Matt 6:33). Do your best to walk upright.

It is to our detriment and thousands of people that God wants to bless through us, that we abuse our new self with the sin that causes us not to be as effective in bringing the Light that is in us to the darkness of this world, the Life that is Jesus who is in us to the suffering of this world. Not to mention we end up with a sin consciousness, where we should focus on a righteousness consciousness. We will slip and fall from time to time. This is not habitual. In these cases, we can apply 1 John 1:9, repent (change our thinking, do a 180 degree turn around and walk in the ‘right’ way again.) and it says Jesus is faithful to forgive as we confess our sins.

Remember, we are a NEW creation!

Colossians 3

Put On the New Self

1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Galatians 2:20 says that you are no longer alive, but it’s Christ living in you!

20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Let us not act someone who we are not. Sin has no grip on us any more. Simply don’t play games with fire any more. Leave it well alone, and focus on doing the Great Commission of Jesus (Mark 16; Matthew 28) and you will be fulfilling James 4:7, and the devil will leave you well alone:

Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Finally, Romans 6 verses 8-11 (bold emphasis mine):

Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Consider yourselves to be dead to sin.

Each time the devil reminds you of your past and your old sins, tell him that old man is dead, and now you are a new creation.

Consider yourselves to be alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Amen!

There is much work to be done, to set the captives free (Isaiah 61), to lay hands on the sick and see them recover (Mark 16:18). No time to be wasted foolishly. There are people dying, people sick, people who need Jesus, and you the believer are CARRYING HIM!

Matthew 10:7-8

And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Waiting for God to move, or is He waiting on you?

In Joshua 3 we learn how the people of Israel crossed the Jordan.toe-in-water-772773_1280

Specifically, in verses 13-17 we see that the waters only stopped when the feet of the priests carrying the Ark of the LORD went into the water:

13 It shall come about when the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan will be cut off, and the waters which are flowing down from above will stand in one heap.

14 So when the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan with the priests carrying the ark of the covenant before the people, 15 and when those who carried the ark came into the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the ark were dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest), 16 the waters which were flowing down from above stood and rose up in one heap, a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those which were flowing down toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed opposite Jericho. 17 And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.

When it comes to a situation you are facing, are your feet already firmly in the water so that God can stop the flood?  Or, are you waiting on God before you will put your full trust in Him? Try trusting in God and taking that first step. Then watch God move.

When God delivered me from twenty years of alcoholism, he told me that when I took my first step, he would “take the other ten”. This means God was waiting for me, not the other way around. I obeyed, went home, flushed the drink down the sink, and the next day I had no more urges. This was in 2009, seven years ago at the time of writing this message. I have not wanted to drink alcohol since that day.

Be encouraged, Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. Take your first step of faith in your situation!

Send us your testimony after you do this here.
