Faith Without Love = A Useless Nobody – Your Identity In Christ (131) – March 5 2022

If I have pure faith, with no unbelief, doubt or fear, but yet I lack love, I am a useless nobody. So writes the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:2.

We summarize all that we have learned from our mini-series on faith, and crown faith with the importance of having love. Love after all leads us to desire to pray for ourselves and for others, in faith, towards whatever the situation demands.

Faith to Subdue Evil in this World – Your Identity In Christ (130) – February 26 2022

Jesus speaks of us hearing of wars and rumors of wars, a nation rising against another nation, a kingdom against another kingdom (Matthew 24:6-7). However, we the church are to stand strong in our faith, not be frightened or troubled. For if we fear, how can we be in faith because our fear represents a lack of trust in the Lord that He will protect us. Part one of the program includes focus on the current situation with Ukraine and Russia, how to speak against the evil that is influencing leaders to fulfill their lust of power at the expense of human suffering. Part two continues the focus on our faith and using it for good works so that our faith is not dead.

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Matthew 24:6-8; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Colossians 2:15; Luke 10:19; Proverbs 18:21; James 2:14; James 2:17-26; Hebrews 4:12; John 15.

Faith In Christ Jesus, The Escape From Darkness – Your Identity In Christ (129) – February 19 2022

God the Father rescues a soul from the powers of darkness when that soul uses its God-given Faith to confess and receive Jesus as Lord, believing God raised Him from the dead. Our faith played a central role in our believing in the person of Christ Jesus by faith, since those of us listening were not around to witness Him at the Cross and walking the earth over 2000 years ago.

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Colossians 1:13-14; Romans 10;9-10; Hebrews 11:1; Galatians 3:26-28; Ephesians 1:3; Ephesians 2:4-5.

Faith: Using it for Predestined Good Works – Your Identity In Christ (128) – February 12 2022

James 2:14 What is the use (profit), my brethren, for anyone to profess to have faith if he has no [good] works [to show for it]? Can [such] faith save [his soul]? What is the point of God giving us faith if we never use it for good works that He has predestined for us to walk in (Ephesians 2:10)? God only gives us what we need, so let us use what He has given us, for His glory, to be set free, and stay free!

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): James 2:14-16; Hebrews 11:1; Psalm 37:4; 2 Peter 1:1; Ephesians 2:8.

Faith: Holding to Your Faith and Showing the Proper Fruits of it – Part 2 – Your Identity In Christ (127) – February 5 2022

It is easier to believe than we think. It is easier to use the equal measure of faith God has given to each of us. If we base our understanding of how effective our faith is based on whether we see something quickly, this can be a problem and introduce doubt. This will immediately cancel the faith, the existence of the substance of things hoped for, that was being established right up to the moment you agreed with the doubtful thought. Rooting out doubt, unbelief and fear means the result of our faith in something coming to pass will be assured if it is in line with God’s Will. This is important if we are to be effective in the use of God’s power when ministering to those who need healing, deliverance, salvation etc.

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Janes 2:17; 2 Corinthians 10:5; 2 Corinthians 13:5; Psalm 91:1; James 1:1-5; Genesis 3:1; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Romans 12:2; James 1:22; 2 Chronicles 16:9; James 2:14-26.

Faith: Holding to Your Faith and Showing the Proper Fruits of it – Your Identity In Christ (126) – January 29 2022

Pure Faith without a doubt, is what causes our mountains to move when we speak to them. 2 Corinthians 13:5 begins by saying ‘Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it’. We should examine ourselves often to ensure we are holding to our faith, using it wisely. If we have doubts creeping in, refocus on the Lord, His Word, His Finished Works at the Cross. His nature, character, His love for his creation, including those who still do not know Him. We are to freely give what we have already freely received. Let us be obedient to Jesus’ commandments so that He can truly say that He loves us. In order to keep His commandments it includes the use of faith, the equal measure of it that God has given to everyone. Let us use this faith with confidence, by knowing Him, what He has done for us. Remembering that He is no respecter of persons. So what He has done for you, He will do for everyone around you and afar across the globe. The question is, will they want to come to know Him? We keep on pushing the plough regardless and offer them Jesus, speaking of our testimony which no one can deny of you. Be confident by speaking God’s Word over situations, people’s health, salvation, ridding yourselves and others of poverty and lack because of the Spirit Authority God has given you. Freely give by faith with the confidence of what we have been sharing for the past several weeks.

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Mark 11:23-24; Romans 8:1-2; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Matthew 10:7-8; Isaiah 61; Luke 4:16-20; Hebrews 11:1; Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 4:12; James 1:5-8; John 15; Matthew 24:35; Mark 5:36; 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Faith: Why Do I Not See What I Think I Believe? (Part 2) – Your Identity In Christ (125) – January 22 2022

Continuing the topic of faith, we speak on trusting by faith with what we do not see for it to become visible, instead of making conclusions and accepting things based on what we see, smell, taste, hear etc. However, we believe the Holy Spirit led us to speak on an unrelated topic first. Proverbs 3:7-8 explains how our body receives health when we turn entirely away from evil, and, instead, reverently worship and fear the Lord. It is obvious then that the opposite occurs when we remain in sin and take part in evil activities. Our body suffers, becomes sick, and is in dis-ease. Some are resigned to return to doctors in a vicious cycle, receiving medicine while remaining in sin, when Christ paid for a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). This is a person who is running on empty, not connected as a branch into the vine that is Christ Jesus.

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Proverbs 3:7-8; John 6:35; John 1:5; Proverbs 3:5-6; Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:1-5, 7-8; Isaiah 53:5; Hebrews 4:12; Mark 5:36.

Faith: Why Do I Not See What I Think I Believe? – Your Identity In Christ (124) – January 15 2022

In the past couple of weeks, we have been talking about our faith being more effectual when speaking God’s Word over situations, by knowing more about his nature and character. We can do this by not only pondering and meditating on scriptures in the bible, but also by spending time with the Lord in the secret place. In this week’s program we begin to look at removing doubt, unbelief and fear out of our faith prayers and projects. For example, if we do not read a verse in conjunction with verses before and after it, we may not get the whole truth, that the blessing that’s promised might be conditional on something we have to do. Not knowing this can cause us not to be effective in our faith. For example, what the scripture promised for provision is not showing up in our lives. Perhaps it’s because we are not sowing our seed for it to multiply. Perhaps it’s because we are not seeking Him first (Matthew 6:33).

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Ephesians 1:17-19; 3 John 1:2; Matthew 13:19; Psalm 1:1-2; Matthew 17:20; Mark 9:23-24; James 1:5-8; Romans 10:10; Philippians 4:19; Psalm 23:1; James 1:7; Proverbs 3:5; Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:15-18; Genesis 8:22; Luke 6:38; Matthew 6:33.

This program covers the following scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Isaiah 55:11; Psalm 119:89; 1 Corinthians 3:9; 1 Peter 2:24; Mark 11:23-24; Matthew 17:19-20; Mark 9:23-24; James 1:5-8
