Acquaint Now Yourself With Him – Your Identity In Christ (141) – May 14 2022

This week we speak mainly on two verses of Job 22 (Amplified Classic Edition – AMPC) where Eliphaz is answering Job with what he needs to do in response to his discontent. How much should we learn from the basic instructions of Eliphaz here, to acquaint ourselves with the Lord, to agree with Him and show ourselves to be conformed to His Will. Eliphaz continues to explain that by doing so we shall prosper and great good shall come to you.

All of this was available to Job, an unsaved soul on the face of the earth, the Messiah not yet having come to pay the price for his sins and offer eternal life. Yet how much more, then, are you and I able to do due to being a born again and redeemed soul. With the living God indwelling us, with us positionally in heavenly places in Christ, we are overcomers, more than conquerors, and able to do ALL things through Him who strengthens us!

This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Job 22:21-22 and also verse 28; Ephesians 1:17-19; Hebrews 4:12.

A-Cross The Great Chasm (Part 2) – Your Identity In Christ (140) – May 7 2022

The second of two programs looking at Luke 16:19-31, regarding the rich man and the destitute Lazarus. On earth Lazarus was at the gate of the rich man, begging for anything that may drop from the man’s table. After both died (in the physical sense), the rich man and Lazarus switched positions. The man was taken to Hades (the place of the dead) by angels, while Lazarus was finally absent his afflictions in Abraham’s bosom. The selfish man was now experiencing worse than what Lazarus experienced begging at the man’s gate. The man saw Lazarus far off across a great chasm between them. That chasm that has been fixed, that separates those who reject salvation and those who are blessed by receiving it by confessing Jesus as their Lord and believing that God raised Him from the dead. (Romans 10:9-10).

This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Luke 16:19-31; Genesis 3:6; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Matthew 25:31-46; John 9:39; Acts 10:38; Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Timothy 2:4-6; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.

Your Identity is in Christ, Not the Old Covenant – Your Identity In Christ (138) – April 23 2022

Do you find yourself comparing yourself to a person spoken of the Old Covenant/Testament, or are you fully aware of your identity in Christ that He bought with His blood of the New Covenant? While there are still important principles for us to learn from in the Old Testament, profound blessings such as the ability for a soul to decide to receive Christ Jesus within their own temple, by way of the new birth, must be understood. All comprehension of the Word of God must therefore be seen through the lens of the Cross.

Hebrews 8:13 (AMPC) shows us of the importance of focusing on God’s replacement of the Old with the New: 13 When God speaks of a new [covenant or agreement], He makes the first one obsolete (out of use). And what is obsolete (out of use and annulled because of age) is ripe for disappearance and to be dispensed with altogether.

This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Psalm 86:1-17; John 15:1-11; Hebrews 1:1-2.
