For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
Our most treasured possession as believers, while the lost so desperately need him before it is too late.
There is only one answer that fits the above description. That is our precious Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. The righteous one who knew no sin so that he might become sin so that those wandering life going on the right path might be afforded the way of escape to become saved. Only a savior can save. That is why the only way to God the Father is through Jesus. He is the way the truth and the life.
Whether you believe today is the day Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary or some other time during the year, in one respect it does not matter. What matters is that we realize how truly merciful and graceful God is to send His only begotten Son Jesus to be a sacrifice for us. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us and we must never forget.
And yet although salvation can never be overestimated as the most precious gift has offered us (we have to believe and receive the gift for it to be our own) the goodness of God does not end there. Just one example of us finally coming out of deception and what God had planned for us all along is the privilege of being a Son. Take a look at our article here.
Before Jesus paid with His precious blood for all of our sins past present and future He had already paid for our physical and emotional healing. See our article here.
As a believer YOU can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. That includes laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover. Mark 16. Matthew 28.
Jesus is waiting for us to be obedient to His call. For us to be faithful. To Him and to everyone. Loving without reservation. Forgiving without reservation. And not forgetting the importance of spending time with Him in the secret place. Wherever that place is for you. Only then will you have clarity over your existence in this life. Only then will you truly know a small fraction of just how much Jesus loves you and how he so desires for you to keep Him number one.
Merry Christ-mas All Year Long.
