“I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor [e]let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]”

– The LORD, Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC)

Why not let go and be protected by Someone who loves you?

Let go. Don’t be ashamed. Let go. Don’t worry. Let go…. Let God.

Place your burdens upon the LORD for He cares for you and loves you! Trust in Him, because He is trustworthy and has never failed you. Those times you blamed Him. It’s ok. It wasn’t His fault, and He still loves you the same way before you blamed Him. He understands you. But He has been calling your name to draw closer to Him. Strive no more. Rest and ponder about Jesus. Rest and contemplate on His Word, which is His heart.

1 Peter 5:7Casting the [a]whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, [b]once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you [c]watchfully.

The LORD has never paid you back for your sin. He has instead paid His Own Son Jesus back for the sins of the world. As you receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord, His blood wipes away the record of your sin. The punishment is satisfied by the sacrifice Jesus paid for you on His Cross.

Psalm 103:12 – 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Open your heart and receive the Lord’s help and love He has for you.

Psalm 103:13-1413 As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe].

14 For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust.

He knows the hearts of the Lost are deceitfully wicked.

Jeremiah 17:9-10The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]?

10 I the Lord search the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

But wait! Let us not give up hope that our heart can never be better! The one who gives their life to Christ, has their life taken in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

Romans 6:4-5We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.

For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].

Our old man dies, and our spirit becomes one spirit with the LORD. Our heart begins to feel the removal of oppression, guilt and burdens from the love and power of God coming in. We begin to trust in the Lord more and more. We go from our own understanding to His understanding as we update our mind to the truth by reading and believing the Bible, the very Word of God.

The Words He Breathes, the Scriptures that contain Almighty power that we know as Scripture today. Recorded by human writers, hearing in their hearts by the Holy Spirit, or in person from the LORD Himself (think Mark, Matthew, Luke, John, James etc.)

2 Timothy 3:1616 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),

While we look back in regret, the LORD looks forward and sees our potential.

He came to set you free from any chains. Loneliness, anger, unforgiveness. As we come to Him, and we make the decision to raise our hands and say “God, I give up trying”, His position would be that you were never meant to strive to create a life in abundance for yourself.

I AM the LORD of Abundance and Blessing. I AM the LORD of Safety and Protection. What do you need to do to receive? Nothing except come to Me, Seek Me and Dwell with and in Me. Give your old life to Me, that I may bring you newness of Life. A new spirit.

Those who make this free will choice, their foes can never reach them any more. They will have no more right to come attack you. Learn about putting on My Armor so that when they do try, you can defend yourself In ME by using My Word against the accuser of the brethren.

I came to seek and save that which was Lost and have them be Found. I am the One who created you, Loved you, Died for you, Cherishes you, Chose you, has more thoughts about you than the grains of sand. I number the hairs on your head.

Luke 12:7But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows.

You don’t even have to work for it. There have been others that have sinned more than you. But My Blood shed on the Cross has paid for all of it to be blotted out. I choose to remember your sins no more. So don’t you remember them once I forgive you! After all, when you give your life to me, I give you a new one.

2 Corinthians 5:1717 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

So to finish, let us not forget our scripture for this article. I pray this becomes one of the ones you have on an index card on your wall, or as a daily reminder in your phone.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your [a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] [b]Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor [c]give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [d][I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor [e]let [you] down ([f]relax My hold on you)! [[g]Assuredly not!]
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

You are Blessed by the Grace and Mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ.

Pastor Marc
