Exodus 34:6 – The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth.
How important it is for us to not depend on our own understanding of God’s nature unless that understanding has come from entering into a relationship with Him. Our carnal mind will always be wrong about God until it is renewed to the Truth about Him! (Romans 12:2). One of the ways is to see God’s nature and character in action in His Word. In this program we look at the Father’s heart in several situations and how His longsuffering continues with us to this day.

Hello Dorothy! The bible indeed says He will, if we confess our sins to Him:
1 John Chapter 1 Verse 9 (AMPC):
If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
