If Adam had not Fallen

If Adam had not fallen, man would not need the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit to do the things that Jesus did.

When Jesus commanded the sea, and the fig tree, he had to be anointed by the Father to do all these things — to walk in dominion, to walk on water, to perform miracles signs and wonders.

Jesus was not doing anything out of his ‘special-ness’ . Remember that Jesus walked on earth as man in right relationship with God (he had emptied himself of all things that made him God, including his power — see Phil 2:7).  So Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to be upon him to carry out all the works. Why? Because when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3 verse 6) their disobedient act of not trusting in God and doing as he said, caused the dominion that they had been given to subdue the earth by God in Genesis chapter 1 verse 28 to be given over to the devil Satan. So God the Father made it so that his son would come as a man in right relationship with God so he would be our example. Of course by destroying the works of the enemy while he was here he allowed us to receive salvation through our believing in Jesus and with repentance and forgiveness of our sins by his blood being shed.

On earth, Jesus did nothing that he had not already told his disciples to do.  In fact everything Jesus did fell under the category of Genesis chapter 1 verse 26.  He spoke to the fish…tree…sea…. he had dominion over all of these things.  God’s plan was for man to have dominion, his plan has never changed, it has remained the same.

We lost the connection with God, but we also lost the dominion. So what you see in Jesus is God restoring to man that dominion.

After his resurrection Jesus received all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18-20), and because of that believers can now therefore go into all the world, do the same works and greater (John 14:12), because we are now anointed to go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed of the devil, for God is with us (Acts 10:38). We can go and spread the gospel winning souls for Jesus, believing for people to be healed, with the Holy Spirit performing signs and wonders following us doing the believing (the faith part). It is Jesus that paid for these souls, and he is the one that is so deserving of them.

Does one’s salvation occur automatically without any human involvement in any part of the process? God wants his believers, his disciples to deliver the good news to the lost and the suffering. That is why Jesus gave ALL BELIEVERS (NOT SPECIFIC PARTS OF THE FOUR-FOLD MINISTRY) the Great Co-Mission (Mark 16; Matthew 28). By the power of the Holy Spirit set the captives free, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers. Why? Freely you have received, freely give!  We deserve hell, but God deserves us winning souls for his kingdom! Jesus has paid it all, even salvation for us undeserving believers. Bless you Jesus forever!

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.” (Rev 4:8)
